The best I could do this year guys.. hate to disappoint, but with the house still being only about 50% unpacked, pulling out Fall decorations just isn’t happening this year 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hopefully we’ll have all our furniture (& no more boxes) in time to decorate for Christmas! Here to hoping! 🙏🏼🤞🏼

HECK. YES!! And y’all, they’re GOOD!! I’m guilty of eating a few of them myself 😬. Mason absolutely loves them!

DESIGN TREND ALERT! By a raise of hands 🙋🏻‍♀️ who else is loving spaces decorated with antique/worn ceramic pots & planters? I personally can’t get enough of them! Spilling some tea... there are definitely ways you can save money when building a house or renovating and still get the look you want! One way we chose to do that was by having a carpenter build our fireplace built ins instead of going with custom cabinetry, and boy did that save us some money!! We did the same thing with our pantry, office, and laundry room! SO worth it! And there are so many other places we chose to cut back to save money! When it all comes together.. my heart could beat out of my chest! Putting the final touches on a space is my favorite part of designing. It’s where I bring to life a vision that previously only existed in my head. And for me, bringing a home to life isn’t so much about the material things inside of it, but instead more about how you feel living in it. I want to help you feel inspired to cook a beautiful meal for your family, comfortable on your cozy couch with your loved ones, motivated when sitting at your desk to work, and relaxed in your bedroom at the end of a long day. Your environment plays a huge role in all of those things, and I would be honored to help you achieve all of that and more!

We all know living in the south, summer starts in April, and “hot as hell” starts in July.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shorts are a must! But being on-the-go, chasing around kids, jumping from meetings to running errands to back home, comfort is top priority! Lose fitting, elastic band or tailed cut shorts are the best for that! But they aren’t necessarily the “cutest” at first glance. Even though comfort is a priority, we still want to look good, right?

So I just wanted to share a few ways I’ve styled these shorts, from very casual, to a little more dressed up!
