These limited ingredient pup-sicles are full of fruits that are good for your pups and natural enough that even YOU could eat them!
Here’s what you’ll need:
– 4 paper cups
– 1 carton of strawberries
– 3 banana’s
– 1 heaping tbsp of all natural peanut butter
– 1 carton of blueberries
– 4 carrot sticks, pealed and tops chopped off
– 3 cups of water
Directions:
Put your (whole) strawberries in a blender with 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth then evenly pour into your paper cups filling them just a little under half way. Place cups in freezer for 1 hour.
After 1 hour put bananas, peanut butter and 1 cup of water in blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.
Remove paper cups from freezer and place a carrot stick in the center of each (larger side goes in the strawberry mixture). The strawberry mixture will be a thicker texture which helps keep the carrot in place.
Now take your blended banana mixture and pour evenly into the four cups. Place back in freezer for 1 hour.
After 1 hour put blueberries and 1 cup of water in blender and blend until smooth. Set aside.
Take cups out of freezer and pour blueberry mixture evenly into the four cups.
Place back in freezer over night.
Once you’re ready to serve these delicious pup-sicles to your best friends run the cup under hot water (water only hitting the cup) for about 10-15 seconds. Then cut a slit into the top of the cup and tear it away from the pup-sicle.
Sammy absolutley LOVED them!!! We couldn’t keep it away from him! They did start to get sticky so we put it in the yard for him to enjoy 🙂
