I’ve been dropping hints on my instagram about this one 🙂
I know so many of us are trying to eat a little healthier and cleaner to get in our “bikini body” shape for this summer so I wanted to share this delicious refreshing and healthy recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
– 8-10 large frozen strawberries
– 1/2 – 1 cup of your favorite smoothie juice (to make it an acai bowl use acai juice)
– 2/3 cup granola
– 2 tbsp coconut flakes
– 2 tbsp sliced almonds
– 2 tbsp honey
– 2/3Â cup fresh berries (slice your strawberries)
– 1 banana, sliced
DIRECTIONS:
Add frozen strawberries and smoothie juice to blender. Start with 1/2 cup smoothie. Pulse 3-4 times then turn blender on high. If blender gets stuck add more smoothie juice to loosen mixture. You want a thick smoothie texture. Set aside.
In a single serving bowl put 1/3 of your granola and 1/3 of your mixed berries and top with 1/2 of your thick smoothie mixture.
Then top with 1/2 of the remaining granola, almonds, coconut, honey, berries & banana slices.
Add remainder of smoothie mixture and then top with all remaining ingredients.
There really is no right or wrong way to layer, just have fun with it 🙂 I end up mixing it all together anyway.
