FIG & RASPBERRY PRESERVE PASTRIES

preserve pastries 1

Hey Guys! I wanted to share this recipe with you before you start planning your Easter menus!  You’ll definitely want to consider these Preserve Breakfast Pastry!

Here’s what you’ll need!

INGREDIENTS:

– 1 box of Frozen Puff Pastry sheets

– Brie, cut into ~3/4 inch cubes

– Preserves (Fig or Raspberry are my favorites for this recipe)

DIRECTIONS:

Set out your puff pastry until almost completely thawed (its nice to have them somewhat stiff so you don’t have a sticky mess). Using a pizza-cutter cut each sheet into 12 even squares and place on a baking pan. Put a heaping teaspoon of your favorite preserves in the middle of each square and then top with a cube of brie. I use fig for 1/2 of them and raspberry for the other half. Fold up the sides of the puff pastry squares and pinch together at the top, closing in the preserves and cheese. Once you have a full cookie sheet bake them for 15-20 minutes (or until golden brown and flakey) at 375 degrees. Best served warm out of the oven!
